Philosophy

At Physio Theory, we don’t just treat symptoms—we address the root cause of dysfunction with a methodical, science-based approach. Our name reflects our commitment to understanding the "theory" behind movement, recovery, and performance. By combining advanced clinical training, cutting-edge tools, and a focus on individualized care, we provide treatments that are as precise as they are effective.

Why Choose a Theory-Driven Approach?
We believe that every movement, every imbalance, and every injury has an explanation rooted in biomechanics, neurology, and physiology. By addressing these elements, we create treatment plans that are not only evidence-based but also tailored to your unique needs.

Objective Measures for Real Progress
We use state-of-the-art tools such as force plates, vestibular diagnostic equipment, and motion analysis technology to provide objective measurements of your progress. This ensures that your treatment is guided by data, allowing you to see tangible improvements and stay motivated throughout your recovery journey.

A Blend of Art and Science
Our philosophy blends the art of hands-on care with the precision of modern technology. From manual therapy and exercise prescription to vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, every aspect of our care is grounded in research and clinical expertise.

Whether you’re a golfer aiming to refine your swing, an athlete recovering from a concussion, or someone seeking relief from chronic pain, Physio Theory is your partner in achieving optimized function, enhanced performance, and a pain-free life.

Let us help you take control of your recovery and performance—guided by science, driven by results

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Rehabilitation

From acute injuries to chronic pain, we’ve got you covered.

Whether you’re recovering from a recent injury, dealing with persistent discomfort, or managing a long-term condition, our musculoskeletal rehabilitation services are designed to help you regain strength, mobility, and function. Through a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education, we address issues like:

    •    Sprains, strains, and overuse injuries

    •    Neck, back, and joint pain

    •    Post-surgical rehabilitation

Our goal is to empower you with tools and strategies to prevent future issues and live a pain-free life.

Golf Rehabilitation and Performance

Your best swing starts with your best body.
Golf is a sport of precision and power—but it can also take a toll on your body. At Physio Theory, we specialize in treating golf-related injuries and optimizing physical performance on the course.

Our services include:

  • Rehabilitation for common golf injuries such as lower back pain, rotator cuff strain, and golfer’s elbow.
  • Mobility and strength assessments to improve swing mechanics.
  • Force Plate Analysis: Using advanced force plate technology, we assess ground reaction forces during your swing to identify imbalances and inefficiencies. This data allows us to pinpoint where you’re losing power or control, helping refine your swing and maximize performance.
  • Performance-focused programs to enhance stability, power, and endurance.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury or aiming to elevate your game, Physio Theory provides the tools and expertise to keep you on the course and performing at your peak. By combining cutting-edge technology and personalized care, we’ll help you optimize your swing mechanics and unlock your full potential.

Vestibular Therapy

Regain your balance, reclaim your life.

If you’re experiencing dizziness, vertigo, or balance issues, our vestibular therapy services can help.

Vestibular pathologies are often complex. While many cases involve Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), there are six distinct variations of BPPV, each requiring a specific approach based on the affected semicircular canal and underlying mechanism. Advanced diagnostic tools, such as vestibular goggles and force plates, ensure we can differentiate between BPPV and other vestibular conditions, including:

  • Vestibular Neuritis and Labyrinthitis: Inflammation of the inner ear causing dizziness, imbalance, and potential hearing loss.
  • Vestibular Migraines: Recurrent dizziness or vertigo associated with migraine symptoms like headaches, light sensitivity, or nausea.
  • Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD): A chronic condition characterized by persistent non-spinning dizziness, often triggered by motion or visual stimuli.
  • Superior Canal Dehiscence Syndrome (SCDS): A rare condition involving thinning or opening in the bone overlying the superior semicircular canal, leading to sound- or pressure-induced dizziness.
  • Meniere’s Disease: A disorder of the inner ear causing episodes of vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, and a feeling of fullness in the ear.
  • Cervicogenic Dizziness: Dizziness originating from dysfunction in the neck, often associated with neck pain or stiffness.
  • Central Vestibular Disorders: Dizziness or imbalance caused by brain-related issues, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or traumatic brain injuries.
  • Motion Sensitivity or Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS): A sensation of rocking or swaying, often following prolonged exposure to motion (e.g., after a cruise).

Our therapy includes:

  • Precise diagnosis using state-of-the-art vestibular goggles to observe subtle eye movements, such as nystagmus.
  • Objective balance assessments using force plates, allowing us to measure stability and progress with unparalleled accuracy.
  • Customized maneuvers and exercises to address the specific type of BPPV or vestibular dysfunction.
  • Balance retraining and vestibular rehabilitation therapy to restore confidence in movement and improve overall quality of life.

At Physio Theory, we combine cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to provide effective, measurable care. By leveraging advanced tools like vestibular goggles and force plates, we’ll help you regain your balance and reclaim your life with confidence.

Concussion Rehabilitation

Recover smarter, not harder.

Concussions can lead to lingering symptoms that disrupt daily life, including headaches, dizziness, and difficulty concentrating. At Physio Theory, we provide comprehensive concussion care to support your recovery, including:

    •    Symptom-specific treatment plans

    •    Vestibular and balance retraining

    •    Gradual return-to-sport or work programs

    •    Visual and cognitive rehabilitation strategies

With a careful and evidence-based approach, we’ll help you navigate your recovery and return to your regular activities safely and effectively.

GLA:D Program

Move Better, Live Better with GLA:D.

At Physio Theory, we are proud to offer the Good Life with Osteoarthritis in Denmark (GLA:D) program, an evidence-based approach designed to improve the quality of life for individuals with osteoarthritis (OA). This internationally recognized program focuses on education, targeted exercises, and functional movement to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance everyday function.

What does the GLA:D program include?
